AIFA Sdn Bhd yesterday held a ground breaking ceremony for its new service and training centre located just behind their headquarters at Perindustrian Lambak Kanan.
AIFA Managing Director Dr Andy Lau officiated the ground breaking ceremony. Also present were AIFA General Manager Lily Ngo, Dr Andy Lau’s family and AIFA staff.
“We are delighted to have approval from DARe to expand our operations. We hope that the construction of the new building will be completed within two to three years,” Dr Andy Lau said.
He added, “With the extension, AIFA is set to provide the best after-sales service.
“We are also building a training centre where we will work with IBTE and other learning institutions in the country to provide a platform to educate the new generation on household appliances and electronics.”
Before concluding, Dr Andy Lau also conveyed gratitude to the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The construction also included a two-storey staff house.
